EPA全称是(Environmental Protection Agency)美国环境保护总署;这是美国负责保护环境的政府部门。但其负责人Pruitt不止一次的表示全球变暖对于人类并不会带来灾难性的影响，而且谈到人类历史上很多次繁荣时期都是出现在气温上升的时期。最近又从他发的邮件中爆出他和他的机构正在和一些否认全球变暖的团体进行合作。当然这个也不难理解，EPA是美国联邦政府的机构，联邦政府的首脑是总统特朗普，特朗普对环保就不感冒，而且退出了巴黎气候变化协定。所有他选的环保署长有这样的观点也就不足为奇了。
