【句子考点】with结构作伴随状语;并列结构及其省略

【句子结构】句子主干为a pyramid of production remains;even after the advent of widespread social media作为时间状语出现在句子开头;

with a small number of people uploading material, a slightly larger group commenting on or modifying that content, and a huge percentage remaining content to just consume为并列连词并列的三个with结构。但是为避免词汇重复，将后面两个并列成分中的with省略。不过我们可根据并列结构的“结构相似”原则找出该处的三个并列成分：and后面为 a huge percentage的表示数量的短语且其后跟着V-ing形式的短语，向前可找到 a slightly larger group表示数量的短语后跟V-ing形式，再向前也可找到a small number of people表示数量的短语后跟V-ing形式的短语。由此可判断，并列连词and并列了三个with结构。此外，with结构符合“with+N+V.ing”结构，因此为伴随状语，翻译为“随着”。
