1）dispose [dɪˈspəʊz]

v.(+of)处理,处置;(+for)布置,安排He doesn't know how to dispose of his spare time.  他不知如何打发空余时间。

 

2）dispute [dɪˈspju:t]v.争论,争执worsen political disputes（18,T3）加剧政治争论

 

3）satisfy [ˈsætɪsfaɪ]v.满意,使满意;说服people will seek to satisfy their curiosity even when it is clear the answer will hurt.（18,完型）即使最终的答案明摆着会使他们受到伤害,他们也会努力满足自己的好奇心。

 

4）distance [ˈdɪstəns]n.距离,间隔,远方,路程The distance wouldn't be a problem.距离不成问题。

 

5）distinction [dɪˈstɪŋkʃn]n.差别,区分It is worth making an important distinction.（15,T4) 很有必要做一个区分。
