　　1. 考查强调句型的基本结构，即“It is +被强调部分+that/ who+其他部分”(这个句型用来强调除谓语以外的部分)。

　　It was because he was too lazy that he failed in this examination. 这次考试不及格是因为他太懒惰。

　　It is not I who am to blame for the many troubles you have encountered. 你遇到这么多麻烦，不是怨我。

　　2. 考查强调句的疑问句形式，如强调句的一般疑问句形式“Is it +被强调部分+that +其他部分?”,以及特殊疑问句形式“疑问词+ is it +that +其他部分?”

　　3. 考查not…until…的强调形式“It is not until…that…”。如：

　　It was not until I meet you that I knew real happiness. 直到我遇到你以后，我才真正体会到幸福。

　　It was not until the rain stopped that they started. 直到雨停他们才出发。

　　4. 考查强调谓语动词用do, does, did。

　　【解析】 此句的主干是it is… that together determine…强调句。coupled with和and连接三个并列成分：the demand of individual consumers, the desire of businessmen to maximize profits和the desire of individuals to maximize their incomes。 此外，需要注意determine后是what和how连接的并列的宾语从句，句末it指代的是前面的what shall be produced。
